Jeff, Congrats on getting Pogliaghi #9187. Just to put in my two cents, I would date your bike at the very earliest 1968, but more likley '69-70. The 144 cranks would work fine, plus you can get a 42 inner chain ring (even a 41 actually). My experience with Pog serial numbers has concluded it's hard to put a firm date on them. But you can make educated assumptions based on lug style and serial numbers. On your bike the lugs are more in the very late sixties through the early seventies. it's the combination that to me moves it up the date ladder a bit. Now your bike would be perfect for those no-name $1800 Campy brakes!
