Well, at first I thought it was a violation of list rules, and Jim was selling his Track Bike !! But then I saw he was talking about eddie's museum piece (hour record in mexico bike), which is probably not for sale.

There are several bikes that have broken eddie's hour record, some of them officially, and some unofficially. I personally would rather own one of Graeme Obree's bikes, especially the first one to have been outlawed by the ICF, something with a washing machine bottom bracket would be far more interesting, imho ...

One way to estimate the value of "The Hour" bike, is by trying to find the highest price anyone knows at which a modern bike has changed hands? What sort of value is the largest here? $10,000 ?? Maybe for a Renee Herse? Does anyone know of a vintage or used (on-topic) bike that has changed hands for more than $10,000 ??
