Subject: [CR] TRADE: 1969 Masi Special - All Original

I have a barn find (I bought it from a 3-fingered fast draw gun slinger. That's similar to a barn find...) 1969 Masi Special I'd like to trade for something I can ride: a bike around 55-57cm. There are some very interesting components and features on this bike, but I guess they'd be better describe by Mr. Hovey than myself (hope you don't mind Bob). He shared with me the following - "Spectacular bike! Great shape, no logo brakes too, wow!

The lugs are a pattern that Masi used for a very short time, '69-70. I was told that they were called Giunticiclo, but was never able to get a confirmation on the spelling or find out anything else about them. Faliero soon went back to the Dubois lugs... maybe he just got a fire sale deal on a few hundred sets or something, who knows? My guess is that the three-slot BB puts yours at the early end of the range for these bikes... the later ones have six slots or four irregularly-shaped ports."
