When I visited Pegoretti he had an old Masi Speciale tucked away in a corner (Dario has quite a few vintage bikes around the shop); he said Speciale pre-dates the Special. When did that name change take place?

Ooops, my bad. The slots in the bottom-bracket shell of this frame are exactly the SAME as others I've seen, not different. too early for me. I think it's a masi Special, myself. But I was wrong once.
