You remember correctly, Dale. In 1983, at Crested Butte, Moots showed up. They had a set of rollers with rocks and I think at least one of the rollers was a log that was mounted pretty eccentrically, so it was a bouncy ride. Watching someone ride the bumpy rollers was entertaining and comical. They also had several bikes that were 650B wheels. The biggest tires they had were Haakapalita (sp?) I think.Kent Erickson (sp?) made a lasting impression on me. He had a built in smile on his face that never seemed to go away. Thinking outside the box was his trademark.Chuck HoeferVista, California USA----- Original Message ----- From: <oroboyz@aol.com>To: <barriemgracer@yahoo.co.uk>; <classicrendezvous@bikelist.org>Sent: Thursday, April 01, 2010 4:42 PMSubject: Re: [CR] Tommy Boonen cobblestone rollers>>>>> <<..
