Dale- Back in the early 1980s the shop I worked at (Geo. Rennie's) dealt with a lot of gearing freaks (like me). We had Shimano and Sun Tour cog boards. And a Regina suit case. Out of it we built a couple of display freewheels. A 7 spd 17-17 "straight cob" and a 11-31 six speed, with a sign that read "we can build anything". Next to them we had an industrial 128 tooth sprocket with it's sign saying "so you want a bigger gear".
