Subject: [CR] Rebecca Twigg images needed for US Bicycling Hall of Fame

Her career started on-topic, and she's just classic. So I'm asking, in just slight desperation, and not for the reasons you'd think: Does anyone in CR-land own AND have rights to any good photos of Rebecca Twigg? Something perhaps you, yourself took at a race or event during her career?

Dare I ask if anyone has a good, high-resolution "mug shot" of her? With the rights?

Hey, there are photos of Rebecca out there, sure. We're talking about one of the most photogenic cyclists ever. It's getting permission to use them that's presenting the nasty hurdle. The photo agencies have been uncooperative, and it's hard to track down who actually took the shots I've found on various websites. Believe me, I've even asked Rebecca, and we're both trying, but we're getting up against a deadline here in a day or two and could really use some help.

This is for a genuine good purpose: We're developing a display about Rebecca for the soon-to-open U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame in Davis, California. Eventually, we'll do the same for each of the Hall of Famers, so if you've got good images of other Hall of Famers in your stash, please start digging soon -- but check for pix of Rebecca first, will ya?

Just so we can get it out of the way, yes I've seen the Pro-tec pile-of-helmets poster. We aren't using it. If I can get in touch with the people from Vans shoes, who now own Pro-tec, I'll be asking after a different poster....

Responses needed ASAP. Thanks!
