Hi Jerry. I like DTs, esp. the butted ones, Competitions and Revolutions. The labor and care involved in lacing and truing a wheel is substantial. By and large modern spokes are much better than the vintage ones. And even on a vintage bikes stainless spokes just look better. If you're never going to ride it be 100% period correct. But if you're ever taking it out for a spin the DTs provide a lot of [very lovely] insurance. Good luck. Billy Ketchum; Chicago, IL; USA.

What is the general opinion of building NOS Martano rims, NOS Campy hubs - Use period vintage spokes or new DT stainless? What say ye all?
Thanks.
