A cycling buddy of mine, Geoff Booker - another very highly skilled engineer / spare time frame-builder, found himself in a similar situation a couple of years ago and decided to make what had been a part time interest into a full time occupation - and now is pretty well stacked up with orders - although he is in a bit of a 'niche' market... (listmeister - def' KOF incidentally)

I've promised Geoff that when my own economic situation improves I'll certainly be placing on order for new trike frame with him...

To my shame, I have to admit that I didn't even know that SJSC / Thorn still had any in-house builders - I thought that everything they sell is manufactured in the Far East to their own spec's. If it wasn't so - presumably it is now?
