This is Pet Peeve no. 2 of mine! Announcing an eBay auction before it is even up.
Why would you do that anyway? No one can go see it now, as it doesn't exist yet, and you cannot announce it here on the CR again because we have a one-time rule... Seems self defeating!?
The only other plausible reason is that you are trolling the CR list for bids ahead of the eBay auction to avoid their charges. But I will not assume that, because that would mean you're being sneaky and purposely trying to undermine the rules here.....
So anyway, please no more "Just letting you all know I may be offering X for auction". That sucks in all ways.

This is pet peeve no. 56.. Announcing an eBay auction before it ever gets up. Why would you do that? Now you cannot announce it when it IS actually up because you are allowed only one posting. Plus, why in the wiorld edo it when no one can go look at it? The only other plausible reason is that you are trolling for offers on the CR list to save eBay fees etc.
