I like the bike. I just thought the seller's hyperbole was a bit too hyperbolic.

One question though, for the student: Did Paramounts from that era really use Campagnolo Record cranks and hubs?

That's not what I remember from the Kissena and Flushing Meadow races in NYC. But at the time, everyone in NYC was using hand-me-down equipment. (At least everyone that I knew.) So I have no certain idea of what a new circa 1962 paramount would have had as original equipment. (Plus, I was about 12 years old, so what did I know, anyway?)
