According to the Schwinn Lightweight Data Book they did have Campy hubs. No mention of cranks, but my supposedly all-original 1963 Paramount track bike does have all Campy parts on it with Cinelli bar and stem. As I understand it, Paramounts could be custom ordered in those days so no reason it wouldn't have had Campy cranks.

I just thought the seller's hyperbole was a bit too yperbolic. One question though, for the student: Did Paramounts from that era really use ampagnolo Record cranks and hubs? That's not what I remember from the Kissena and Flushing Meadow races in NYC. ut at the time, everyone in NYC was using hand-me-down equipment. (At least veryone that I knew.) So I have no certain idea of what a new circa 1962 aramount would have had as original equipment. (Plus, I was about 12 years ld, so what did I know, anyway?)
