A few more things for sale. All prices plus shipping:

1. Nitto M-12 rack (mounts to fork crown and canti bosses). Used one day (30 miles) for Bicycle Quarterly wheel size comparison test. As good as new. Latest (shiny polish) version with two eyelets for lights. Comes with Nitto canti bolt and nut. New price at renehersebicycles.com: $ 86

$ 65

2. Nitto M-12 rack, older style with satin finish. One eyelet for light mount. No bolts. Used for a year or so, and the Nitto sticker has worn a bit from the handlebar bag rubbing on it. Otherwise as good as new.

$ 45

3. Kogswell P/R protoype frame. OS tubing, blue (periwinkle color). All measures center-center: Seat tube: 550 Top tube: 570 Head angle: 72-73 (depending on fork) Seat angle: 72-73 Chainstays: 430-442 BB drop: 70

Comes with two forks: a) prototype fork with 73 mm offset, resulting in 25 mm trail. Perhaps the best-handling geometry for fat tires - identical to 1952 Rene Herse. Fork has very stiff tubing.

b) production fork, black, 63 mm offset, resulting in 40 mm trail. Great for carrying heavy loads.

This is your chance to own a piece of history - the bike that made 650B and low trail popular. With OS tubing (same tubeset as Surly Long-Haul Trucker), it would make a great touring bike. Doesn't shimmy at any speed, so if you are not concerned about "planing," this is the frame to own.

Ridden 1000-1500 miles. Powdercoat is in good shape, but has a few scratches here and there. Rear dropout eyelets are drilled out (there are two sets), so you'll have to attach things with bolts and nuts.

Comes with already installed Honjo fluted rear fender (50 mm) (but will be removed for shipping). Front fender is brand-new, not drilled, so you can use it on either fork. Cane Creek headset included, as are rear brakes (Tektro Oryx, don't stop well).

Horizontal dropouts, cable guides for internally-geared hub, two water bottle bosses, etc. Build it up as you like - fixed, internally-geared hub, derailleurs.

For the color, see this photo (second photo from top, blue bike)
