Sincere apologies, Bill, I didn't aim to go subcutaneous on anyone.

We're talking about history here and cattle slaughter is a part of the saddle-making process. History is oddly inter-connective and asking questions about our suppositions is one way we learn.

It is certainly mistaken to suppose I was bringing anything to the CR list other than a saddle history question. Nor did I express any partisan opinion about political events of years ago. Offensive terminology, maybe?

So.... to avoid rubbing anyone the wrong way it would be better to let me know off-list if you've any information on Fujita thick leather sources.

Unless of course, it turns out they got it from Tandy or Kobe. That can safely be shared with the entire list.
