Good question on the Frejus serial #'s. Although, not an expert - my guess is that the headbadge used on the frame listed that was listed as 1953 (#32758) was used to date it.

The owner included in the decription: "Head badge inscribed "Campione del Mondo 1930-32-48-51".

I have a frame with "Campione del Mondo 1930-32, 48-51-53-54-55" on the headbadge.

1953 was used because the above frame #32758 stopped at 1951. It did not include 1953.

My frame is missing 1957 or 1958 - so I guessed it to be late 50's (theory - which is why I list "?" on my frames).

Other frames in the 30,000 serial number list could well be 1970s, but most used decals rather than badges. If a headbadge was used, maybe it was not the "Campione del Mondo 1930-32.." series.

Others may chime in - but that's my guess.
