I understand the seller's situation, and I certainly empathize with him.

And while it is certainly not all that important in the larger scheme of things,

he's clearly open to an offer for the whole bike. Someone on this list should step up and make a good offer for it, and keep the bicycle intact. They're virtually impossible to find in the condition and originality of this one.
