I'm planning on showing & riding a restored late 1960s (no holes in lugs, no oil ports) Cinelli SC at Cirque this June. It wears a NR Gruppo that is a couple of years newer than the frame. Although not exactly what the bike would have sported out of the factory, the only glaring anachronism is Campy brakes. The rear derailleur is dated as well. I have a Record derailleur in fine condition and a set of Universal Super 68 sidepulls that would not be out of place. Campagnolo brakes are just so much classier, very much in the era, and only a little newer than the frame.

So, what would you do?
