Mike- You've gotten some good advice. I'll add a couple of points more. One guy I worked for would knock off the bent threaded portion and place a 1/4" ball on the pin's end and reuse the Park press. Some times we would center punch the pin to better locate the ball. The coolest and most effective to remove a tight pin was a pneumatic hammer. The guy who taught me frame building used one to loosen stuck parts. He thought was that the rapid rate of the impact helped to loosen the cotter more then any one large amount of force.
