This week I made some Grande Flasque Flanges for a rear hub.
As with everything else about these hubs, there were plenty of surprises.
The rear came out reasonably well, but could use some tweeking.

Once I have all the design and tooling details worked out, I will start selling these on ebay. In the meantime, the time & expense involved in these hubs has piled up.
To allay these expenses I would like to start taking orders (and deposits) for the first 4 sets. If anyone is interested, these will go for $350 per set, delivered, sight unseen. (I am having custom-made wooden display boxes made, for another $70 if interested)
Disclaimer: These hubs have not been tested yet ... as such, they are for display only. Once I have positive lab test results and ride test results, the buyers will know if they are safe to ride.
On top of that, I will take special orders for custom designed hubs. For example: anyone wanting to present a flower pattern to a lady friend, can order them from me anyone wanting their sweetheart's name engraved, with hearts, on the flanges can ask etc., etc. these will cost $500/set with a three month lead time Paypal only.
