That frame was mine until I sold it last year on eBay -- the craigslist seller even used the same photos that I used in my eBay listing. Here in Ohio, especially around the Akron area, you occasionally find nice older frames built by Scott Paisley, since he spent a number of years building frames here in Hudson, Ohio in the early 80s. I had bought this one from the original owner (who wanted it without decals, not sure why), but it wasn't really the best fit for me, so I sold it to help pay for another project. That detailing with the rounded-point lugs is something you'll see on a lot of Paisley's from that period -- and the seatstay treatment is classy.

When I was an undergrad at Kent State, I used to visit the Hudson Bike Shop regularly, where Scott built his frames. I remember seeing a couple of tandems that he built that were absolutely gorgeous.

All,

Happened across this KOF frame on the Philly Craigslist while looking for something else: http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/bik/1732434217.html

Ad: "1980's Scott Paisley frameset- handbuilt in Ohio. Columbus SL/ SP tubing, Cinelli lugs, Campagnolo dropouts front and rear (126mm). Excellent condition. Imron purple and dark green "flip-flop" paint. Shimano 600 headset. Frame measures 60 cm center-top. Top tube is short: 56cm center-center. $800"

It looks immaculate & love the seat lug treatment...
