Subject: [CR] Steve Mass and his interesting Colnago sale: Some thoughts and questions

Steve I started to write off list and then thought that your answer could be so interesting and perhaps vital to many List Members that I'd write an open letter on line. Hope this is acceptable to you.

My question is about this Shop Airlines America Inc.. Could sellers on E-Bay arrange with them to deliver their items there and include such info in the sale page ? This might well solve many problems for American E-Bay sellers. It could be stated right up front that overseas buyers can arrange for purchase and shipment by contacting them and perhaps even an 800 # could be included on the sale page. It could be further stated right up front that such expenses as might be incurred would be the buyer's responsibility, if that is the seller's desire. Obviously the sale might have to be of longer duration to allow all parties to negotiate, this might even work to the seller's advantage by allowing the extra time. Wouldn't it be great if E-Bay itself could develop the relationship with the company, perhaps for a wider range of sale products? It sure would be great to only have to ship to Colorado and still be able to deal with an overseas buyer.

Thanks,

Tom Sanders
