There isn't insofar as in order for the image to be displayed on the viewer's screen it must be first downloaded, so any image that you put on the web that people can view can easily be saved to any viewer's hard drive. There is no possible way I have seen or can even imagine to effectively protect images from being saved. People try tricks like writing scripts to disable right click or hiding the image under a transparent layer or using flash, but of course none of them work because in the end the image must be downloaded for it to be viewable.

If you don't want an image downloaded; don't upload it.
