I feel your pain!

The problem with Shimano brake levers is they seemed to have changed designs monthly! I bought a set of NOS Shimano 6207 600EX levers sans hoods thinking that at least one set of the 6-7 different Shimano hoods that I have would fit.

Not even close!

The 1984 Shimano 600 hoods are pushing the CR List 1983 envelope a little. ;-)
