Kevin, First gen. Super Record rear changers have been seen with date codes as late as 1979, AFAIK. This is, of course, fully into the mass production of second version SR changers, which have been seen to exist with date codes as early as 1977, IIRC. I know of aluminum mounting and pivot bolts on the 1979 year second versions, which returned to TI bolts shortly thereafter, but I have not heard of first version changers having aluminum bolts. This doesn't mean they don't exist ... just that I've never seen them discussed on list.

Mark and other Campag fans........ this list has worked its wonders again by revealing that the elegant Super Record [MK 1] rear gear seems to have been produced in 1973.....I always assumed 74 was the starting point.........my MK 1 is a pat 76...probably quite a few out there?

So taking it to the other extreme......what was the last year of production before the later Super record [MK 2] rear gear came out........and when did Campag change the titanium bolts for alloy, as well as changing the style of the jockey cage bolts to the 'nutted type'........I have both versions of the MK 2......ones a pat 79...forget the other one.......

cheers
