Torque spec? If you use the Campy "T" wrench on the Campy front drlr, and it is on a Reynolds or Columbus tube, it will indent into the tube, for it is intentionally not round. It will not migrate if properly tightened. It is a wonderful design feature. The amount of "feel" afforded by the specific leverage of that tool will keep all but the most hulkish of us from applying too much torque.

Be at one with the Campyness of all these things and know they are blessed, for they come from the land of the Pope.

Ahoy ! With respect to On Topic front derailleurs and frame tubing (most notably the varieties of Reynolds, Vitus, Columbus) what is the recommended torque spec range for the front der clamp bolt (clamp der to seat tube) ? My recollection of this spec is not certain.

I lob this inquiry to the CR list because I do not trust that currently published specifications are accounting for On Topic requirements.

Thanks
