Hello Continental Fans,

I have a set of Continental Ultra 2000 700's on my '74 Italvega model Super Record. That bike for some reason rides better than any other bike I have ever owned (even a couple of the highly sought after frames of France, UK and Italy). The only thing that comes near are the early to mid 60's Paramount's and my Colnago's. Why the Italvega rides so well, I will never know. The Continentals looks different than most tire grains, but they roll on and on. Track very well (that's the frame, I know too). Those tires are out there and I see them from time to time.

Hi Everyone,

My wife has a set of Continental Ultra 2000 700x23 tires on her Alpine and I really like the color of the gumwall. I've been trying to find a set for my Paramount but have had no luck...does anyone know where I can buy a set? Or what are your recommendations for a quality gumwall tire? I know that they aren't the greatest tire overall because of their tendency to separate at the wall, but they are ideal for the aesthetic I'm going for. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks!
