There is a "1970s" Peugeot tandem on ebay that has been offered on ebay for a while now by Otto's Cyclery in Oak Lawn, IL:

This bike appears to be on-topic and I have some questions:
1) Has anyone on this list had any experience with these Peugeot tandems? How do they ride and what kind of performance do they offer compared to more modern (and way-off-topic) tandems like Santanas, Cannondales, TREKs, etc.?
2) I am assuming that it is made from Peugeot's Carbolite 103 steel tubing and not anything fancier. Is this correct?
3) Has anyone on this list seen this particular bike or ridden one like it? Has anyone dealt with Otto's before?
