Subject: [CR] Help needed for centerpull brake setup

I have not set up centerpull brakes for many years. The frame has a mounting area brazed onto the rear brake bridge, so I do not need to use concave washers. When I put the brake bolt in the hole, the pivot plate rests against the seat stays. Is this correct? Should I put in a washer or two to move the brake out from the frame?

I am also looking for a front cable hanger to fit a steerer with a slot. The one I have is designed for a steerer with a flat. I would like to get one with a qr if possible. Please contact me offline if you have one.

One more question: I have seen some cable anchors that used rollers instead of the usual roughly triangular shaped piece of aluminum. Are the rollers really better?
