It looks to me like the front end could be original paint, but the rear end I believe is most certainly not original, as the brake bridge is the type found commonly with mid 1980s Columbus SLX tubesets, aka the "airplane prop" bridge. Compare to this one on my May 84 Torpado SLX: http://tinyurl.com/2cwkuy3

The decal on the top of the seat tube is post 1978, and top tube brake cable guides didn't exist back then either.

My guess is that the rear end sustained some damage and was repaired, and while at it, they went ahead and added some things, and chromed the rear end, while salvaging the original Campy dropouts (perhaps "open C" type). Not a Cinelli expert, just looking at the old and new bits that don't match up...

I have a couple of questions about this SC on Ebay. First, there are 2 oil ports which I assume dates it pre 1970 correct? The decals seem incorrect but the seller says paint is original. Also has anyone ever seen shifters like that on a SC?

Could it have been modifies when it was repainted?

Thanks
