Back in the 70s Silca made gum rubber gaskets for their air chucks.

They easily fit and sealed on just about every Presta stem we encountered. We had them on all of our shop floor pumps and even the air line from the compressor.

I had a Silca chuck on my Medai floor pump and the gum gasket lasted years even with latex tubes that needed to be pumped up every day.

The black rubber replacements have never worked as well!
