Hi all, I could be wrong, its been quite some time since I pulled my one that I had in an ALAN apart, but I'm quite sure the bearings and the spindle are all made as one, NON replaceable, but I could be wrong...........regards wayne davidson Invers NZ............

The Nadex is a perfect solution. They seem to be fairly scarce, in North America at least. Mine came from a U.K. source. I believe they were also sold under the Checkoslovakian Favorit brand. I imagine the Taylor would have originally used a Bayless unit B.B. and cottered cranks.{ it's a 1964 frame}. The only snag I encountered was the spindle width was a MM or two too short to use Stronglight 49 cranks, the chainring bolt heads contacted the BB. cup. I had to substitute model 93 cranks. From what I hear Nadax BB's last for many years, anyone ever try to replace the SKF bearings? If so are they standard off the shelf items , or something special for these units?
