Listers in the NYC area,

Jaime Swann and I shall be heading out of Brooklyn, north towards Nyack on 9W, for a brutal hammerfest where drops are encouraged as well as lugged steel bikes. We will not support you or wait for you as you fade, but rather make fun of you and spill water on you from our waterbottles till you find the appropriate pain threshold - which will be high. Remember, our classic bikes are made to go fast, and FAST is the tenor of the ride.

The details:

8am meetup at the corner of 18 Bedford Avenue in front of Five Leaves restaurant. We can arrange to pick you up in Manhattan as we roll through or to meet up on the NY or NJ side of the GWB. Roll out with a vengeance towards Nyack.

If you plan to ride slow, you may want to skip this ride to cry in your mommy's lap.If you don't want your legs broken, put your skirt back on and watch 'Beaches' instead. Bonus points for every 'Va fangulo' given to crapon fibre bykes with appropriate hand gestures, extra bonus points for the 'ole Silca stopper trick.

On topic bikes encouraged but not neccasary (prepare to be beaten by steel and ribbed mercilessly). We shall be friends off the bike and sworn enemies on the bike.

Who's willing to test us?
