I suggest that someone put after-market decals on it in order to pass it off as a Paramount. Steve Whitting

NOT, The first thing I notice is the top head lug is higher above top tube than any I have seen before on Paramount's, Schwinn didn't use pop rivets to attach the badge. The ser.# dosen't jive and it is in the wrong place for the year . The lugs are not correct for a 74-79 model with those decals. Stem is wrong and non Campy dropouts. Barring a one off custom I say it could be a Voyager? in chrome or non Schwinn made product. IMHO If it was a backroom '79 built from parts it would likely not be numbered at all ( I have two of them).
