I hope that most people recognize a scam when they see it. But if not, a word of warning. Someone has apparently gotten ahold of a well-known CR list member's e-mail distribution list and is sending the following scam hoping to trick people into thinking our friend Angel Garcia is in some sort of trouble and needs cash sent to him immediately. I seriously doubt Angel sent the following e-mail....

I am in a hurry writing this mail to you, I had to traveled to Wales, UK for an urgent function and unfortunately for me all my money was stolen at the hotel where I lodged. I am so confused right now, I don't know what to do or where to go. I didn't bring my phones here and the hotel telephone lines were disconnected during the robbery incident.
