Subject: [CR] building troubles with DT spokes

I really appreciated the post which contained the like to Peter's website discussion of DT spoke changes. I had been using really old DT spokes from a LBS that had a Phil spoke machine.

About 3 years ago I bought a box of DT spokes to build a matching front and rear pair. Second pair had the rear wheel with the new spokes and the front with old. The wheels I built with the new box have been just icky and has had me scratching my head because the front with old spokes is just fine.

By the by the matched set was 700 c and the mismatched spoke wheel were 650
