Slight correction Amir...

It's not that manufacturers rarely - or most don't produce - 310mm...it's as you hinted at already - most shops don't order and stock 'em as most road wheels built today in the mass market are in the 286mm to 297mm range.

I import CN, and in the past have imported other brands. If I asked for 310mm threads or no threads - BAM! I get 'em.

I'm sitting on 10,000 of my most recent order of 12,000 14g right now.

I'm also sitting on 1000 13g/14g...

I'm also sitting on 1000 15g...

...each and every one - 310mm.

A person I import for is sitting on 20,000 power coat 14g in 8 different colors - 310mm.

Remember, most if not all manus for straight guage are pulling the wire off a spool - hammering the open end to form the mushroom - bending...and then cutting and threading the other end. The length is in large part trivial. You

want 180mm, they'll give 'em to you...but they'll charge you the same as a 310mm. All my manus to date have sold me by piece, not by length.

Here's the shocker...minimum order for any one specific spoke? Believe it or not...500.

...since you didn't mention whether this need is for a on-topic bike...am I off- topic?

Just had to say it..

=8-)
