Brazing is when the filler is drawn into a gap with capillary action, such as lugs. The industry term for what we call Fillet Brazing is Bronze Welding. When I do a fillet first I go around the joint and suck filler into the interface between the tubes and into the joint, ie. brazing. Then I build the fillet ie. bronze welding.
The term Bronze Welding is confusing to the layman as it's commonly assumed that a "Weld" involves melting some of the material being joined and using a filler similar to the base metal.
