I don't see items going for less compared to the past as much as a lot of items with high starting bids going unbid on. Sales to me seem pretty consistent or even a little higher, what's different is there's a lot more items being offered. So many- primarily the ones with high starting bids- go unbid on. Also, for lugged frames with some cachet, it looks to me like a non absolute top of the line groupset- and more particularly a Japanese one- often adds no value at all and may even detract. Second and third tier parts generally don't fare well on Ebay.
