And when I threw in the prices I paid those are 1990's prices, mostly pre internet. Kevin's ad will tell and like I said in my first post, it is interesting, especially in hard times.

Here is the result of 2.5 seconds spend on a search -- and you know that with a little negotiating you could get each of these for 62% of asking price....(the $400 ebay price that began this thread continues to amaze me - and with all those marks on the frame...) ______________________________________________________

In none of the these cases does 62% of the asking price get you a bike for anywhere near the purported "tag sale" price of $25. Which goes to my original post. These are different bikes in significant ways from the "boat anchors" you asked about. That's all I'm trying to say.
