Your bike is a "Super Sport", if I recall correctly. It's very much the same as a Sports Tourer, except your model has a BB that fits the Schwinn Ashtabula crank, and the Sports Tourer had a conventional bottom bracket assembly.
FWIW, a Sports Tourer equipped with Campi Gruppo and sew up wheels weighs about 32 oz. more than a 531 or Columbus bike.
