Subject: [CR] Varnish Fix Transfers

Hi Hugh,

I've used genuine (OEM) varnish fix transfers several times now and despite my initial apprehension, they were trouble free in use. I got mine from H. Lloyd Cycles and they come with excellent instructions and some @scrap@ transfers to practise with. You need some 1-2 hour setting gold size (cheap from art suppliers) - apply to the back of the transfer and let it soak in for about 45 minutes until it's tacky. Then press the transfer against the frame. Get it right first time, you can't reposition it! Tape it firmly in position and leave for 24 hours. Soak off the backing paper - they look great! Hope this helps.
