In December I asked the list about sources for replacement oilers as used on 1st generation Schwinn Paramounts (1938-1959). I received some tips from list members and with a little further research, found one that will work on some, but not all Paramounts. I put pictures on Wool Jersey comparing a presumably original Paramount oiler with oiler item #LUB067 from Restoration Supply Company (www.RestorationStuff.com). At $4.50 + S&H, if you are missing the oiler on your Paramount, it might be worth a try.
If you know of better options, let me know and maybe we can add them to the Wool Jersey oiler album, too.
