Greetings.......................I have for sale a somewhat rare bird. It is a 3Rensho in a very small size. The seat tube is 45cm c-c and the top tube is 50 cm c-c. I believe it would fit a person 5 feet or five feet one inches; or someone small with a small inseam. Unlike many other small road bikes the frame takes standard 700c wheels. Serial number s A423-45 which means it was imported through Anthony Muza and the Madison Wisconsin Yellow Jersey shop. Based on the serial number, I suspect it dates from 1982 or 1983. The frame a s whole is in superb condition. I few nicks and scratches but no dings or dents. The decals are in ok shape. The downtube is sans decal--not sure if it came that way or what. There is no evidence of one ever being there. There are a number Team Mavic decals on the frame and it came to me with a Mavic bb and Mavic starfish crank. It also had Mavic/Simplex RF shifters, a campagnolo headset and Super Record seat post (in a 26.8 size). It also had Suntour Superbe Pro brake calipers. I completed the build with Mavic 840 front and rear derailleurs, a Cinelli stem and handlebar and some Early Dura Ace brake levers with white hoods. The wheels (also original) are Mavic 501 hubs laced to Mavic clincher rims. I added some new Vredestein Fortezza tires and a new chain, cables and handle bar tape. Truly a rare bike in an uncommon size. The color is a Rose Pink. There is a frame listed on the Yellow Jersey site which identifies a very similar looking frame as a a "Special Ultra Light Model Super Record Lady". Like the one pictured, this one is fillet brazed. I am asking $1500 obo shipped CONUS. Questions, comments always welcome.
