if i had to pay full market price for all the things that have passed through my hands, my collection would consist mostly of a few Raleigh three speeds i found in the trash and a some empty Campy boxes... buying on the cheap is the only way some of us can afford this hobby and, because we are enthusiasts with a keener sense of value, i feel like a SWEET DEAL is our rightful due ! after all, if an object has no practical use to someone and holds no sentimental value (and if it's for sale it can't have too much) what value is there left ?

are there really people out there offering to pay two or three times asking price when they stumble upon a SWEET DEAL ?!?
