Looking for some insight/info on Quill Stems:
Currently I have a ITM quill fitted on a Condor Classico with ITM pro Race bars 260.. Im looking for another retro looking or Quill stem ( ie.. Nitto) or VO Stem Adaptor ,..that will accommodate wider Bars say like the Nitto B176 seems my hands are numbing out even after a retro fit at a reputable Cycling shoppe.. didnt want to get any smaller than 90 on the stem ideally 100 not too much on the slope angle down, and keep the handlebars reachable.. which is whY i thought Nitto B 176 would work.. Current issue is the ITM quill stem will only fit 26 bars.. so Im told need a quill to fit 31.8 not sure.. but any professional opinions or help would be greatly appreciated..
