Subject: [CR] Symmetry in on-topic handlebars

Listers,

Over a period of a few years, I've replaced bars on several bikes with wider, newer, or just different-shaped handlebars. I find myself with quite a few on-topic (and marginally off-topic) bars to unload. But in photographing a few of them, I noticed that many aren't quite symmetrical.

I haven't noticed this when the bars are on the bike (although maybe I would have if I was setting up brake levers, etc.), but only when photographing them. Now I'm left wondering whether they've all been dropped/crashed/bent in shipping or otherwise damagaged after manufacture, or whether they were never quite as straight as I assumed.

Of the bars I'm currently using, there to appear to be some which aren't quite symmetrical (older cinelli model 65 and one 66), but others seem to be better (model 64 and newer Nitto 176).

Have any of you noticed that OT handlebars (that otherwise show no evidence of impact) aren't quite symmetrical?
