Hi Mark,

The number may mean something to the guys and gals originally putting the frames together but means nothing to those of us who are trying to date them 40 years later. Without seeing pictures of the frame, lug work and components, I can't give you an exact year; however, Zeus used the lime green color from the mid to late 1970s.

Yesterday afternoon I purchased what appears to be a Zeus Criterium (lime green). I have just started disassembling the bike, but did notice a number stamp on the bottom bracket "3626". Does anyone out there know if this number will give me any additional information about the bike or is it one of the numbering systems that no one can make heads or tails out of. -- Mark Pounders Richmond, Virginia USA _______________________________________________ Classicrendezvous mailing list Classicrendezvous@bikelist.org http://www.bikelist.org/mailman/listinfo/classicrendezvous
