As they are so easily lost, I recently came up short of the same ferrules, but found it easy to massage a pair of standard, stepped, non-aero Dia-Compe ferrules into service.

After a bit of beveling of the step's edges using a file, the newly-crafted substitutes actually did a better job of supporting the lined cable housing such that the inner wire made no contact against the bare aluminum of the ferrule, a problem I often encountered with the original cute bullet ferrules used in these aero levers. Lever return action now feels smooth (like more-modern aero levers always feel).

The only drawback was that I then had to loosen the lever body clamp slightly to get the cable housing and fatter ferrule through the window atop the lever housing, and lastly, push the housing firmly in to seat the ferrule squarely (this after the cable was fitted and tensioned to the caliper).
