Subject: [CR] Cleaning Campi hubs of old, dried grease?

Hi Jon: I clean out old dry grease from the inside of bike hubs probably more than just about anyone. Yeah, I know it sounds like I am bragging and I hate doing that but I am pretty sure it is true. With that in mind I still may not be performing the most efficient operation the way that I do it but I use Simple Green dilluted 2:1 and use the spray bottle method along with a dental type steel scraper where many times that is exactly what I pretend to be is a dental hygenist scraping off plaque. I have the spray bottle ready and a piece of scouring pad along with old toothbrushes. It is a painstaken affair but I think that along with a good polishing of either some Mothers or Wizards on the hub shell it gets the job done. There is some evidence of the result in my photos on eBay...rockhopperbiking is my sceen name and my store name is BeeBopaDooBop (can't help it I am a fan of the blues) in case you are interested in seeing.
