If my memory serves me well (it sometimes does not, regretfully) Richard Byrne, the founder of Speedplay was a CR Member a few years ago, although I haven't seen a posting from him for some time. He seemed a really good guy and Bob Hovey and I posted about Masi bikes with him several times. If anyone would like to consult with him on this a bit, I'll forward them the E-Mail address I have on file for him. It is about three years old and I am not sure it is still in play, but if I can be of assistance, let me know. Possibly Bob has heard from in more recent times.
